Lindsey grew up in Flagstaff Arizona and trained in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Modern. She then attended Palm Beach Atlantic University as a dance major. She was a dancer, actress, and producer for a performing arts company in South Africa for 6 years (which is where she met her husband). She and her husband moved from Africa to Missoula in 2015 so that Lindsey could pursue a career in Wildlife Biology. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Montana in the Mills lab. Lindsey enjoys spending her spare time outdoors with her St. Bernard, Hagrid.
Jen is from Missoula and has been professionally involved in the dance world for thirteen years. Her love for dancing, teaching and choreography opened doors for her world travels to twelve countries including Russia, China and Pakistan. Outside of teaching dance she also holds a degree from University of Iowa, certifications in BootyBarre, Progressing Ballet Technique, Progressing Contemporary Technique and recently became a certified trainer in the GYROTONIC® method. When she has a free moment she enjoys paddle boarding, rescuing dogs, and doing jigsaw puzzles. She currently teaches ballet, pre-pointe, and progressing dance technique.
Isabella is a recent graduate of Frenchtown high school. She spent most of her high school career attending On Center Performing Arts as both a student and a teacher. She graduated from our instructor training program, participated in Curtain Up! Company, placed 2nd in the Missoulian best dancer 2020, and choreographed for the musical "Unexpected Wish". She is currently attending the University of Montana to study Social Work.
Hope has been connected to the dance community since she was 5 years old through On Center Performing Arts! Her love for dance has inspired her to grow as a dancer and a teacher in the Missoula Community. Hope was a member of Curtain Up! Company for three years and has since spent her time teaching and spreading her love for the arts to growing dancers in the making. She is so excited to continue to teach with On Center Performing Arts and can't wait to get back and working in the studio!
Dancing and grooving ever since she could remember, Tiki Preston came from the Black Hills of South Dakota to study choreography and performance at the University of Montana in 2016. With a BFA in Dance and a minor in Studio Art, Tiki is excited to continue dancing for Montana's only dance company, Bare Bait Dance, for her third year. From Modern/Contemporary dance to Ballroom, many different styles of movement are within the scope of Tiki's expertise, along with teaching and choreographing. She was presented an Award of Excellence through the University's Theatre and Dance Program in 2017-18, along with the Talent Scholarship in 2019. Staying invested in Missoula's community, Tiki will be continuing to teach at On Center Performing Arts and bringing ballroom dance lessons to those looking to get married in the summers.
Miranda has been a part of the Missoula dance community for over 11 years. She has danced with On Center since she first moved to Missoula, and was a part of Curtain Up! Company for two years. During her time at On Center she created a family and a second home, she found passion in sharing the knowledge of this beautiful language. She became interested in teaching classes to the little ones and participated in On Centers 3-year Instructor Training course so that she could follow the dream of being a teacher. Miranda was also on the Hellgate High school dance team for all four years. After High school Miranda's passion for dance did not stop, however she did take a break to become dog trainer certified in Austin, Texas where she found another passion of hers. Now that Miranda is back in Missoula she is thrilled to be able to come back to On Center and get back to boogying.
Audrey grew up in Big Sandy, MT, graduating high school in 2020 with a class of only 18 students! She has danced since she was 4 years old, trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, and modern! She also has experience in competitive dance and teaching. Audrey is currently studying elementary education at the University of Montana, and aspires to learn more about the art of dance and teaching as a whole. She brings new movement to the studio, is a role model to all, and most of all is a friend!
Shelby danced for 17 years in Billings, MT. She moved to Montana in 2020 for school, but is currently taking a gap year. She will be attending the University of Montana in Spring of 2023 to study Specialized Dance Education. She loves spending time outdoors and doing art in her free time.
Lucy is a recent graduate from Whitefish High School and is currently getting her BFA in musical theater at the University of Montana. She was the runner up state champion in dramatic interpretation in Speech and Debate for four years in a row, and has performed in over 30 productions! When she isn't performing you can find her thrifting, journaling, reading, and practicing Yoga.
Megan is a Missoula local with a passion for dance. She has spent the past ten years dedicated to learning dance with a focus of teaching and performance. Megan received her Bachelor's Degree in Dance from the University of Montana and has had the privilege of studying under renowned artists including Heidi Eggert, Gerald Casel, Michelle Boulè and countless others. Outside of dance, Megan is also a licensed EMT. She enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and floating, tutoring and baking cakes. Her favorite quote is from the film We Bought a Zoo, "you can do anything with just ten seconds of courage."
