Lindsey Barnard

Lindsey Barnard

Program Director

Lindsey grew up in Flagstaff Arizona and trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Modern. She then attended Palm Beach Atlantic University as a Dance major. She was a dancer, actress, and producer for a performing arts company in South Africa for 6 years (which is where she met her husband). She and her husband moved from Africa to Missoula in 2015 so that Lindsey could pursue her degree in Wildlife Biology. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Montana in the Mills lab. Lindsey enjoys spending her spare time outdoors with her St. Bernard Hagrid.

Jenifer Kerber

Certified Progressing Ballet Technique Instructor

Jenifer attended college at the University of Iowa and got a bachelor's of arts in Dance. She has been teaching, choreographing and doing administrative work for Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre since 2009 including help create Ballet Beyond Borders. With Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre and Ballet Beyond Borders she has performed and choreographed for tours and cultural exchanges in Italy, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, China, Russia, Portugal, Canada, Mexico, and Pakistan. Her teaching experience includes ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, tap, Chinese folk dance, kick line and Barre. Other than Rocky Mountain Ballet Theatre, she has helped develop a dance program in Philipsburg, MT. In her free time she loves hiking and paddle boarding with her dog Penny.

Isabella Garrard

Isabella is a recent graduate of Frenchtown high school. She spent most of her high school career attending On Center Performing Arts as both a student and a teacher. She graduated from our instructor training program, participated in Curtain Up! Company, placed 2nd in the Missoulian best dancer 2020, and choreographed for the musical "Unexpected Wish". She is currently attending the University of Montana to study Elementary Education and Dance Education. As company director she cannot wait to help young dancers explore their potential as dancers and leaders in their community.

Morgan Solonar

Morgan Solonar

Musical Theater, Acting, & Dance Instructor

Morgan is a recent graduate of the University of Montana with a BFA in Acting. She has been singing and dancing from the time she could walk and is so excited that she gets to teach young artists! Her favorite musical theatre role she had the pleasure of performing was "Margot" in Legally Blonde: The Musical. Along with being a full-time preschool teacher in Missoula, she is an avid hiker, skater (roller skating AND skateboarding!!), and boxer. She enjoys eating cauliflower crust pizza as much as possible and spending time with family and friends. Morgan is so excited and grateful to be a part of the On Center family and cannot wait to get to work

Emily Baker

Musical Theater & Dance Instructor

Emily has been performing in musical theater for the past ten years while also directing musicals for a variety of high school and children's theaters for three of those years! She attended Flathead Valley Community College and received an AA with an emphasis in Theatre Arts Studies as well as an AS to prepare for the diagnostic medical sonography program she is currently in under Spokane Community College. When not singing or dancing around her apartment, you can find her reading, exercising, hiking, or taking care of all her plant babies. Or look for her at a local ice cream shop! Then you can discuss your favorite flavors and become best friends based on the solid foundation of your shared love of desserts

Miranda Pernell

Dance Instructor

Miranda has been a part of the Missoula dance community for over 11 years. She has danced with On Center since she first moved to Missoula, and was a part of the performing arts company for two years. During her time at On Center she created a family and a second home, she found passion in sharing the knowledge of this beautiful language. She became interested in teaching classes to the little ones and participated in On Centers 3 year Instructor Training course so that she could follow the dream of being a teacher. Miranda was also on the Hellgate High school dance team for all four years. After High school Miranda's passion for dance did not stop, however she did take a break to become dog trainer certified in Austin, Texas where she found another passion of hers. Now that Miranda is back in Missoula she is thrilled to be able to come back to On Center and get back to boogying.

Hope has been connected to the dance community for ten amazing years through On Center Performing Arts! Her love for dance has inspired her to grow as a dancer and a teacher in the Missoula Community. Hope was a member of the OCPA traveling company for three years and has since spent her time teaching and spreading her love for the arts to growing dancers in the making. She is so excited to continue to teach with On Center Performing Arts this year and can't wait to get back and working in the studio!

Tiki Preston

Tiki Preston

Dance Instructor

Dancing and grooving ever since she could remember, Tiki Preston came from the Black Hills of South Dakota to study choreography and performance at the University of Montana in 2016. Tiki appreciated the eclectic nature and diligence in the Theatre and Dance Program. She is excited to continue her career in Missoula with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Studio Art. Contemporary, Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Ballroom dance are all within the scope of miss Preston's expertise, along with teaching and choreographing. She has had the honor of working with many highly-esteemed choreographers such as Brian Gerke, Faith Morrison, Meredith Monk's dancer Allison Easter, and Vim Vigor. Tiki choreographed a solo for herself in 2018 that was chosen for the American College Dance Association (ACDA) to be adjudicated in the Northwestern collegiate dance conference. She was presented an Award of Excellence through the University's Theatre and Dance Program in 2017-18, along with the Talent Scholarship in 2019. Continuing to make work and perfect her technique, Tiki looks forward to dancing with Missoula's company, Bare Bait Dance, along with teaching for the community.
